• Repair and maintain all equipment including electrical, plumbing, lighting, laundry, fridges, air conditioners, water system and pump, ice machines, washers, dryers, irons, electrical components, switch gears, panels, motor controls, and boilers other tasks as assigned
• Ensure all pathways, buildings and walls are clean and the resort surrounds are clean and tidy
• Monitor utility consumption to determine the effectiveness of current systems
• Maintain and repair the interior and exterior of buildings
• Assist the manager with administrative duties including maintaining log books, maintenance forms, purchasing and scheduling assignment of projects, as well as the procurement of supplies and the issuance of purchase orders
• Design and implement the ongoing preventive maintenance program incorporating regular, scheduled checks of all buildings and equipment
• Maintain all equipment such as air conditioning, fire systems,electricity and water and complete all necessary repairs
• Other tasks as assigned

• Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
• Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
• Understanding of budgeting and performance management
• Excellent planning and leadership abilities
• An eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
