Senior Restaurant Manager (For Pi Pay's Partner)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Restaurant Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of our restaurant. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional service quality, operational efficiency, team development, and strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive and inspirational leader who drives performance, fosters a positive work culture, and consistently delivers an outstanding guest experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Leadership & Development
+ Lead, mentor, and coach team members using structured HR frameworks and development tools.
+ Invest time in staff development, succession planning, and fostering a high-performing team environment.
+ Handle employee relations professionally, addressing conflicts and performance issues in line with company values.
+ Actively participate in recruitment, ensuring the selection of qualified and culturally aligned candidates.
+ Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting a positive workplace culture both internally and externally, including digital platforms.
- Customer Experience
+ Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly addressing guest feedback and complaints.
+ Set the standard for service excellence through visible leadership and leading by example.
+ Identify and address training needs to ensure staff deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Operational Management
+ Forecast sales and plan staffing, inventory, and resource allocation in alignment with seasonal demands and market dynamics.
+ Optimize labor, inventory, and supply management to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
+ Assign staff roles based on strengths and business requirements to support optimal service delivery.
+ Conduct regular operational audits and walk-throughs to maintain service, hygiene, and food safety standards.
+ Oversee maintenance schedules and equipment checks to ensure health and safety compliance.
- Financial & Administrative Oversight
+ Manage POS procedures, including opening, cash handling, and daily closing reconciliations.
+ Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate records related to stock, waste, and cost controls.
+ Utilize operational checklists and reporting tools to ensure smooth and compliant daily operations.
REQUIREMENT
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field (exceptional internal candidates with a proven track record may be considered).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in hospitality or retail management, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Language - English (proficient) , Japanese (proficient)
- Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing diverse teams.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of operational and financial metrics.
- Flexible, resilient, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
