Risk Operations Supervisor
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Continuously monitor marketplace transactions to identify and assess potential risks, including fraud, policy violations, and suspicious activities.
• Manager to develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize financial losses and protect the integrity of the marketplace.
• Conduct thorough investigations of flagged transactions and accounts to determine the validity of risks. Policy Enforcement:
• Ensure compliance with marketplace policies, terms of service, and legal regulations.
• Identify and report policy violations, working with relevant departments to take appropriate corrective actions.
• Update and refine policies and procedures to address emerging risks and improve dispute resolution processes. Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze transaction and dispute data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular reports on risk management and dispute resolution activities, including key metrics and performance indicators.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with other departments, such as Customer Service, compliance, and IT, to ensure effective risk management and dispute resolution.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance marketplace security and user experience.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on risks, disputes, and mitigation efforts. Customer Education and Support:
• Educate buyers and sellers about policies, best practices, and fraud prevention measures.
• Provide support and guidance to customers regarding risk and dispute-related issues.
• Develop and distribute educational materials to promote safe and secure transactions.
REQUIREMENT
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. Experience:
• 2-3 years of experience in risk management, dispute resolution, or a related field.
• Experience in an e-commerce or marketplace environment is preferred. Skills:
• Strong analytical and investigative skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using risk management and dispute resolution tools and software.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
