Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR and Admin Intern to join our team at Algorithmics Phnom Penh on a part-time basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in human resources and administrative functions within an educational institution. The HR and Admin Intern will work closely with the HR Coordinator and Operations Manager to support various HR, administrative, and organizational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
Assist with job posting, candidate sourcing, and initial screening of applicants.
Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates regarding application status.
Maintain organized records of job applications and candidate profiles.
Onboarding and Training:
Assist in coordinating new employee onboarding processes, including paperwork and orientation sessions.
Help prepare training materials and schedules for new hires and ongoing professional development initiatives.
Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
HR Administration:
Assist with personnel file management, updating employee records, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Help administer employee benefits programs and handle inquiries related to benefits eligibility and enrollment.
Support HR initiatives such as performance reviews, employee surveys, and recognition programs.
Administrative Support:
Assist with general office tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing mail correspondence.
Help maintain organized records and databases related to employee information, attendance, and leave requests.
Provide support for office logistics, including scheduling meetings, booking travel arrangements, and ordering supplies.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to HR management as needed.
Assist in resolving employee conflicts or grievances in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Help foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Compensation:
This is a part-time internship position with compensation provided in accordance with local labor laws and regulations.
