Utility Operator (Outsource)

Job Location: PPSEZ, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. 
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and shut down wastewater treatment machinery efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Detect and resolve any mechanical or operational issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor and control wastewater treatment processes, ensuring compliance with quality and safety.
• Maintain zero non-conforming before release wastewater.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to prevent breakdowns and maintain reliability.
• Identify opportunities to reduce water waste and optimize water treatment performance.
• Implement solutions to minimize downtime, improve efficiency, and enhance operational safety.
• Predict and prevent potential system failures through proactive measures.
• Ensure compliance with EOSH (Environment, Occupational Safety, and Health) and GMP (Good 
Manufacturing Practices) standards in all operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in the wastewater treatment area

The Successful Applicant:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineer, Environmental Engineer, or related fields is preferred.
• Experience in operating and maintaining water treatment or industrial utility systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of GMP, EOSH, and wastewater treatment regulations.
• Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
