Unit Team Leader (Production)
We are seeking an experienced and professional candidate for the position of Unit Team Leader. In this pivotal role, you will ensure production lines' operational efficiency, quality assurance, and compliance as per the standards of local regulations, TCCC/KORE, MEC, and ISO. This role is crucial for managing the daily operations lines, such Can line, PET line, and PET Hotfill line, optimizing workflows to meet production targets efficiently. It involves maintaining the highest standards of product quality, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, GMP, 5S, HACCP, and environmental regulations. This position requires managing, training, and developing team leaders, operators, and technicians, fostering a safe and productive work environment. The Unit Team Leader is also responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices, and new technologies, and streamlining processes to enhance productivity and sustainability. Furthermore, the role involves managing costs effectively, budgeting, and executing cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality or efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Location: Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone, Cambodia.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the production lines to ensure efficiency, quality, and timeliness.
- Implement and monitor stringent quality control measures to ensure all packaged products meet the required local regulations, KORE, MEC, and ISO.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external quality specifications.
- Enforce all workplace safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of packaging equipment is carried out efficiently.
- Provide regular reports on line performance, progress on key projects, and any critical issues to the Production Manager.
- Identify opportunities for improving production processes and systems to enhance productivity.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the budget for the production department.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
REQUIREMENT
The Successful Applicant:
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years as a production unit management within a beverage production environment/FMCG.
- Experience in product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Experience in routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.
- Experience in overseeing team performance, daily operations, and managing production schedules.
- Deep understanding of technical aspects of production machinery and systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build good relationships.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in English or other languages is a plus.
