We are seeking an experienced HR professional for the position of Senior Executive, Human Resources. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the effective management of Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Compliance with labor laws, and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) for our growing workforce, safeguarding employee trust and legal adherence in Cambodia’s dynamic regulatory environment. The role involves managing all aspects of payroll processing, maintaining precise payroll records, and proactively resolving discrepancies to ensure that employees are compensated correctly and on time, which directly contributes to workforce morale and operational continuity in a fast-paced environment.
Job Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, motivate, and retain high-performing talent.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking and salary analysis to ensure our total rewards remain competitive and aligned with industry best practices.
- Oversee the end-to-end administration of employee benefits (health, welfare, and retirement plans), ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth execution.
- Manage and execute timely, accurate payroll processing—including data integrity, audits, discrepancy resolution, and compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records, and employee files, and ensure accurate tax and deduction reporting.
- Partner with external payroll service providers and serve as a key contact for employee payroll-related inquiries.
- Ensure company policies and HR practices comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and employment legislation.
- Conduct regular HR audits and assessments of HR practices to identify risks and recommend solutions for compliance and process enhancement.
- Stay updated with legislative changes affecting compensation, benefits, and HR practices.
- Oversee the implementation and management of HR Information Systems (HRIS) to streamline HR operations.
- Generate insightful HR analytics and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making for leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the HR team to ensure cohesive HR service delivery.
- Provide expert guidance on compensation, benefits, and labor compliance matters to both managers and employees.
- Actively contribute to broader HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, well-being, and organizational culture.
REQUIREMENT
The Successful Applicant:
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in HR roles with a focus on Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, and Labor Compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of HR laws and regulations, payroll systems, and HRIS.
- Proven analytical skills with an ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in English or other languages is a plus.
