KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching and Curriculum Development
- Delivering effective English lessons: Employing various teaching methods and techniques to engage students and facilitate their understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension.
- Developing and implementing lesson plans: Creating comprehensive lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assessing student progress: Regularly evaluating students' learning through tests, quizzes, and assignments to monitor their progress and identify areas for improvement.
Classroom Management
- Maintaining a positive and conducive learning environment: Establishing and enforcing classroom rules and expectations to ensure student discipline and respect.
- Managing classroom behavior: Effectively addressing disruptive behavior and promoting positive classroom interactions.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere: Fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging student participation.
Student Support
- Providing individual attention: offering additional support and guidance to students struggling or requiring extra assistance.
- Encouraging and motivating students: Inspiring students to develop a love for learning and reach their full potential.
- Mentoring and advising students: Guiding on academic and personal matters, such as career paths and study habits.
Professional Development
- Participating in professional development activities: Attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions to stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies and trends.
- Collaborating with colleagues: Sharing best practices and collaborating with other teachers to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Reflecting on teaching practices: regularly evaluating their teaching methods and seeking opportunities for improvement.
REQUIREMENT
- BE.d. in teaching English as a second language or equivalent quality.
- More than 1 year of teaching experience.
- Experience in managing mixed-ability students classrooms.
