Technician (Khmer)

Kamworks is a leading solar energy company in Cambodia. Established in 2006 by Dutch solar engineers. It has been pioneering in the design and installation of solar rooftop systems and has the longest track record of grid connected solar projects in Cambodia. Currently we are seeking Technicians to carry out a long-term inspection of a large solar farm. The Technician will report directly to Site Manager.

Rank Salary: $300 - $450

Return travel from Phnom Penh provided

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working at a large solar PV facility, the candidate will be performing sections of a counter-inspection based on the available documentation
• The main objective of this counter inspection is to verify whether the previous inspection and reported documentation provided to date is accurately reflecting the current status of the installation/equipment at site.
• The candidate will be briefed by the site manager and use issued instructions and documentation to perform visual control and selected functional testing on accessible and visible work.
• The main responsibilities will be testing and inspection of solar photo-voltaic structures and panels including basic electrical and mechanical engineering testing.
• The candidate should ensure installations are compliant with design specifications, compile accurate inspection reports and punch lists from the documentation provided.

Requirements:

Kamworks is looking for professional with the following background:

• Bachelor degree of electrical engineer/electronic or equivalent
• Have more than 1 year’ work experience is preferred
• Excellent organizational coordination, communication skills, problem solving ability and execution ability.
• Familiar with safety protocols and procedures
• Flexibility to travel to project sites in various locations whenever necessary
• Good command of spoken and written English is preferred
• Have a full driving license
