  • The role of Project Manager entails the effective planning, overseeing, coordination and execution of specific projects.
  • The individual will be responsible for controlling the projects’ budget as well as ensuring that tasks are being completed on time to a high degree of quality.
  • To be assistance of Project Director, Managing Director to drive PHV’s result and bring values back into the PHV’s spirit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and provide information and update pre-start drawing program.
  • Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion
  • Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Review and check construction drawings and shop drawings to ensure PHV is providing best services to the potential clients
  • To monitor, assess resources and manage specialist viaduct works subcontractors to ensure adherence to the construction program in order to complete the project within the contract period.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  • Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance
  • Consult the Managing Director and Project Director for guidance of all Sub Contractors quotations exceeding the budget value.
  • Manage Technical Manager to ensure all information is produced to avoid any delay.
  • Write to consultants of delays / additional costs occur and give appropriate notices where necessary.
  • Approve consultants claim for payment.
  • Produce Board Reports when required.
  • Attend to contracts administration.
  • Assist with preparation of Building and Technical budgets.
  • Ensure surveyor places contracts within budget values.
  • Assist / control resolution of any building legal matters involving Consultants, Sub Contractors and suppliers with the Contracts Manager and surveyor and consult with the Managing Director and Project Director for guidance.
  • Review the work progress on daily basis of PHV’s projects
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques to bring PHV’s values to both company and its clients.
REQUIREMENT

EDUCATION/ TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field or equivalent education etc.
  • KEY QUALITY FOR SUCCESS EXPERIENCE
  • At least 8 years, experience as Project Manager or above in the Construction industry.
  • Strong Background in working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Strong technical background in managing construction of multi-use projects.
  • Highly proficient with computer applications, coordination, negotiations
  • Results-oriented, able to take constructive criticism and move forward, able to lead the Site Team to timely, quality and design compliant project completion
  • Proven leadership skills, results oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to create a diverse and supportive work environment in a multi-cultural setting
  • Strong time management skills
