JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Narrowcasters & Associates started to provide audio tour operation service in Cambodia since 2011. It is subsidiary of Narrowcasters Pty Ltd, the dominant audio tour company in the Asia Pacific region: India, Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia. We are looking for a qualified Cambodian Candidate for the position as below.
Position: Customer Service Guide
Working Location: Cheung Ek Genocidal Center (Address: Roluos Village, Sangkat Cheung Aek, Khan Dangkao, Phnom Penh)
Working Schedule: Part-Time (7:00 am to 13:00 pm, short break at 10:00 am for 15 minutes)
Contract Period: one year, renewable, full time work is considerable depending on availability
Benefits
Salary: 220 USD per month (including 45 USD for meal allowance)
Welfare benefits provided:
• Extra bonus 10 USD per day-shift is provided on Public Holiday Work.
• 1 day off per week (rotated by company’s schedule arrangement).
• Occasionally, additional working hours upon request by Site Manager or N&A up to 8 hours per day is required and will be compensated by daily rate; overtime work outside of 8-hour working will be compensated at the rate stated in our policy.
• Award up to maximum 2-month salary payable twice per year is provided upon performance satisfaction
• 3 sets of uniform per year. Other benefits will be explained further at employment agreement stage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties
• Interact and provide high quality service to all visitors at the site, making sure they are comfortable in all ways, as well as preparing them to take the audio tour with a player, headset and map.
• Maintain visitor comment books to record comments from visitors soon after they have finished their tours.
• Be flexible serving between front office visitor’s area and back office equipment maintenance area depending on back office shortage of staff support; to assist in cleaning and charging equipment to ensure adequate supply during daily operation.
• Treat all site personnel with respect; provide them with support and coordination in all matters, in addition to audio tour matters.
• All reasonable duties and responsibilities as required by the Employer for the position as Customer Service Guide.
• Follow all company’s rules and regulations, policies and procedures & report to Site Manager.
REQUIREMENT
Requirements
• Undergraduate Student at University, Student at Year 3 or Year 4 and fresh graduate is given priority.
• Conversational English level, or knowledge of other languages is given additional points at screening
• Able to work by schedule set by the company including public holidays and weekend.
• Students from any majors of university degree can apply; however, study background in history, hotel management, tourism or customer service related skills is given additional thought.
• No experience is required, candidate who can start working immediately is in absolute favorable.
• Able to work with flexibility, has friendly personality, good teamwork skills, and self-initiative person.
