Fleet Management Duties:

  1. Ensure that all UNAKRT’s official vehicles are well maintained and able to provide transport services to senior officials (Judges) and senior management, for official missions, and other administrative supports.  
  2. Supervises pool of drivers recruited by the national side, assigns and distributes daily job to ensure that fleet requirements are fulfilled. Where possible makes arrangements for the co-operative use of vehicles;
  3. Monitor the UNAKRT’s owned fleet to ensure that vehicles are being efficiently utilized.
  4. Monitors the fuel and vehicle maintenance contracts, and monitor vehicle maintenance costs and estimation for duty free import;
  5. Assist in the execution of technical evaluations for long and short-term contract on vehicle maintenance;
  6. Manages and controls the postpaid fuel Cards. Prepares fuel consumption reports of official vehicles by liter and kilometers;
  7. Ensures daily checks are done by the drivers on the mechanical soundness and overall cleanliness of assigned vehicles prior to operation, by verifying and undertaking checks of the following; petrol, oil and water level, electrical system, brakes tires pressure and condition;
  8. Liaises with commercial insurers to ensure that the policy is covered.
  9. Ensures that UNAKRT vehicles are used in accordance with UN Rules and Regulations,

Property Management duties:

  1. Executing standard operating procedures (SOP) relating to the receipt of goods to insure proper R&I (Receiving and Inspection) in the ERP (Umoja), and that R&I records for assets and supplies are created in the dedicated inventory database (FACS);
  2. Liaise with the Procurement Unit regarding the planned date and other details relating to the delivery of imported items; complete certification and forward information promptly to facilitate vendor payment; maintain clear and accurate records of all R&I actions taken.
  3. Manages and monitors the asset control procedures in UNAKRT.
  4. Reviews the write off requests and the disposal of assets.
  5. Performs any other duties as requested

Administrative Officer

- July 2005 to March 2011

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a Procurement Representative for the program such as forming a purchasing committee, searching for qualified suppliers and select for the best supplier, and participate in locating for potential goods/service providers for regular require service/goods.
  2. Monitor the use of Program’s Vehicles and Motorbikes
  3. Ensure the program’s equipment are properly used and maintained.
  4. Keep all filling related to the Program
  5. Arrange the travel of the Program Manager, Project Staff and visitors.
  6. Keep all inventories and office facilities
  7. Keep tract to all correspondents both ways (outing and incoming) make sure they are delivered to the receivers.
  8. Arrange all kinds of meeting, training and workshop within the program.
  9. Prepare annual budget for the administration unit.
  10. Supervised the staff under the Administration unit (two Drivers and 3 Admin Assistants).
  11. Draft all type of contracts, agreements, P.O, RFQ, ITB and RFP.
  12. Participate in developing the policies related to the administration for using within the organization.

Executive Secretary to the Country Manager

About Me

I graduated both bachelor and master degree major in Business Administration, which will allow me to utilize my skills and knowledge rightly, especially in project management, research methodology and English comprehension. In addition, most of the training that I had gone through so far is also respond to the requirements such as Conflict Resolution – Collaborative Negotiation, Contracts, Procurement and Negotiation Skills, Essential Facilitation Skill and an Advance English will be another. Through this, I will be able to produce the standardized report in English and Khmer and help providing the information and constructive feedback toward peers and partners in order to ensure the set project actions planned accomplished as scheduled.

As a professional staff member, I had been involved in many types of positions such as an Assistant for Staff Capacity Building, Executive Secretary to the Country Director, an Administrative Officer, which was a position that I had been working in for more than 6 years continuously with an international NGO and a current position as a Senior Administrative Assistant with one UN Agencies. Through these jobs, I have well equipped myself with various experiences such as procurement management, assets management, store and supply management, event arrangement; fleet and travel management, project and budget management as well as developing related administrative operating standard. Apart from my main responsibilities, I was actively participating in conducting project evaluation, new project assessment, designed and redesigned.  

Lastly, my personality is also a part of my strength that consider as one of the key factors, which would help me accomplishing my job on time and effectively. I am a high committed person and keen to learn new things. In addition, I am also a fast learner especially to the new job and able to adopt it easily to the new working environment, for I experienced in working with many type of persons both local and expatriates. I am also regarded as a confident staff member in every task assigned to me as I am able to stand on my abilities in producing a quality of tasks that I am assigned for. I am an initiator who is able to produce the suitable tool in help me and the team to accomplish our set goal successfully.
