Volunteer Consutant 

International Executive Service Corps (IESC) is a US not-for-profit organization currently implementing the Capacity Building of Cambodia’s Local Organizations (CBCLO) Program. IESC/CBCLO is a 5 five-year, USAID-funded program that aim to support capacity building of local Cambodian organizations (NGOs) to develop and improve their internal systems in the area financial, administrative, procurement, M&E, internal controls, and organizational management.

The IESC/CBCLO program is currently seeking qualified Cambodian student volunteers to assist IESC/CBCLO’s program staff. This is perfect opportunity for those who are interested in learning more about how to manage a non-profit organization while gaining valuable work experience. Travel and meal allowances are provided (if travel is required). The opportunity is based in Phnom Penh but may include occasional travel to the provinces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Volunteer will work under the supervision of the Grants Specialist and CBCLO team. A detailed list of responsibilities is provided below:

• Assist the CBCLO team to perform Impact Strengthen Development (ISD) assessments to identify potential weaknesses and areas of improvement.
• Assist the CBCLO team to arrange the training’s logistics.
• Assist in translating materials from English to Khmer. 
• Providing additional support as needed to meet program objectives.

REQUIREMENT

• Fresh graduates students in the fields of Development, Accounting, Economic, English literature, and Auditing are encouraged to apply (Preferred, but not a must). 
• Knowledge of financial management, accounting, and administration are preferable.
• Relevant work experience is preferred, but not required.
• Candidates must demonstrate a desire to learn and problem-solve. 
• Proficiency is a must
• Good communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel, and accounting software is preferable.
• Ability to travel to provinces if required, but not mandatory
