The Head of Legal and Compliance is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance matters within an organization. This includes advising leadership, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and managing a team of legal and compliance professionals. 

• Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the organization adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. 
• Risk Management: Developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management program, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal and compliance risks. 
• Compliance Monitoring and Testing: Regularly monitoring and testing compliance programs and procedures to ensure their effectiveness. 
• Policy Development and Implementation: Developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines. 
• Training and Education: Providing training and education to staff on compliance matters and regulatory requirements. 
• Reporting and Communication: Regularly reporting on compliance status and issues to management and the board. 
• Legal Counsel: Providing legal advice and guidance to management and other departments. 
• Team Leadership: Leading and managing a team of legal and compliance professionals. 

• BA/MBA Degree in law, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years experiences related to Legal and compliance 
• Very knowledgeable of banking regulatory requirements.
• Very good understanding of legal and court case procedures.
• Good analytical and skepticism skills.
• Good leadership and can manage multiple tasks at the same time.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.
