EOSH (Environment, Occupational Safety, and Health) Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced professional to take up the role of EOSH (Environment, Occupational Safety, and Health) Coordinator to contribute and make sure that Cambodia Beverage Company Ltd. is a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace both inside the plant/premises and outside (RTM). The individual will ensure that the company adheres to all relevant local and international TCCC/MEC/ISO environmental, safety, and health regulations. Stay updated with legislative changes and adapt company procedures for compliance. A significant part of this role involves risk management and in the event of an accident or environmental incident, leads the investigation to determine the causes and develops strategies to prevent future occurrences. Job Location: Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone, Cambodia
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all company operations (Plant/Premises /RTM) comply with local, and international TCCC/MEC/ISO EOSH regulations and standards.
- Keep up-to-date with new regulations and standards, and implement necessary changes to company policies and practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments across various departments to identify potential hazards.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize occupational hazards and environmental risks.
- Investigate any accidents, injuries, or environmental incidents within the workplace (onsite/RTM). Prepare detailed reports on incidents and make recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Manage and maintain records of all safety-related documents, including audits, training, and incident reports.
- Propose and implement initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of the company’s operations.
- Monitor environmental performance and report on sustainability efforts to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Develop programs that support workplace health and wellness, including ergonomic assessments and air quality monitoring.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate health screenings and occupational health services.
- Regularly review and update EOSH policies and programs to ensure they are effective and aligned with current best practices.
- Stay informed about advancements in EOSH technologies and methodologies, and explore their applicability to improve the company's EOSH measures.
- Develop and update emergency preparedness plans, including evacuation procedures and emergency contact lists.
- Conduct regular emergency drills to ensure employees are well-prepared for various scenarios.
- Design and deliver comprehensive EOSH training programs for employees at all levels to enhance their awareness and competence in handling safety and environmental issues.
- Organize workshops and seminars to keep staff updated on the latest safety protocols and emergency response techniques.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all EOSH-related matters between the company, regulatory agencies, and external consultants.
- Advise senior management on EOSH issues and contribute to strategic planning to enhance overall safety and environmental performance.
REQUIREMENT
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in equivalent or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)/Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST)/Safety and Health Manager (CSHM).
- 2+ years of experience in leading the EOSH Coordinator or related position.
- Experience in managing or supervising safety protocols in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction setting.
- Experience with OSHA compliance, including conducting audits, managing inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Experience in roles focused on environmental protection, waste management, pollution control, or sustainability initiatives.
- Experience in developing and executing emergency response strategies and plans.
- Good in Khmer and English and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing environments.
