URGENT JOB ANNOUCEMENT

I- Chinese - Khmer Full-Time Translators/Interpreters

Job Description & Requirements:

• At least bachelor’s degree from any related university;
• Excellent command of both Khmer and Chinese;
• High and practical experience in translating texts and documents from Chinese into Khmer and vice versa;
• Meeting deadlines assigned;
• Proofreading and editing final translated versions to ensure the accuracy, consistency and quality of translating documents and checking terms and terminology being applied;
• Highly committed to improving translation standard and quality from day to day;
• Being fully responsible for all assignments without delay;
• Good typing in Khmer, Chinese and English.
• Being clearly and practically familiar with and accustomed to translating a wide range of contracts, lease agreements, bylaws, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and legal terms and other sectors.
• Confidentiality and professional code of conduct must be applied;
• Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned by the general manager.

II- Professional Khmer-English Full-Time Translators & Interpreters

Job Description & Requirements:

• At least bachelor’s degree from any related university;
• Excellent command of both Khmer and English;
• High and practical experience in interpreting and translating texts and documents from English into Khmer and vice versa for any other local and international NGOs, UN agency, companies, governmental institutions or law firms, etc.
• Meeting deadlines assigned without delay or any excuse;
• Proofreading and editing final translated versions to ensure the accuracy, consistency and quality of translating documents and checking terms and terminology being applied;
• Highly committed to improving translation standard and quality from day to day;
• Being fully responsible for all assignments without delay;
• Good typing in Khmer and English;
• Being clearly and practically familiar with and accustomed to translating a wide range of contracts, lease agreements, bylaws, documents related to NGOs, laws, educational, commercial, agricultural, industrial, political, economic sectors;
• French is a must plus the both languages;
• Confidentiality and professional code of conduct must be applied;
• Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned by the general manager.
