BRED Bank (Cambodia) Plc is the bank for all the people and businesses of Cambodia who like to keep things simple and easy. We are looking for the qualified candidate who has experience in the banking sector to fill in the below position.

BRED Bank Cambodia is looking for an IT Officer already experienced to join the IT Team and be part of the launching of the first European Bank in Cambodia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for IT Security Procedures including management of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Review, procure, install, manage and maintain an inventory all Bank IT equipment.
• To assist and efficiency service to users in using computers ICT equipment and communication equipment, understanding policies and guidelines.
• To coordinate with vendors and providers for procurement ICT equipment and Internet connection services.
• Configure networks and systems to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
• Perform server and security audits, and system backups and recovery.
• Identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems
• Maintaining existing software and hardware and upgrading any that have become obsolete
• Monitoring computer networks and systems to identify how performance can be improved
• Working closely with IT help-centre to solve IT matters
• Implementing security measures and basic testing
• Providing network administration and support

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related fields
• CCNA/CCDA or above certification desirable with in-depth knowledge and technical skills in Data Centre and Unified Communication
• Minimum 2 years experiences in IT operations and networking in designing LAN/WAN and SD-WAN solution.
• Knowledgeable in ITIL/ITSM and best practices methodologies
• Diagnosis skills of technical issues.
• Self-motivated self-starter that thrives in a fast moving environment.
• Good English proficiency

Required competencies:

• Good understanding of networking principles, practices and technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, NAT.
• Worked with Cisco products.
• Good knowledge on hardware (PC & Peripheral).
• Software & System installation.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 Server and Active Directory.
• Knowledge on Linux/UNIX systems.
• Aware of security policies and good practices.
• Worked with ticket system.
• Aware of IT inventory system and process.
• Familiar with backup process and policy.
• Effective communication.
• Autonomous and pro-active.
• Quick learner.

Extra appreciated competencies:

• Experience with Palo Alto products.
• IP-PABX & CCTV.
• Programming (Scripting, SQL)
• Experience with Flexcube (Oracle) core-banking system.
