Application Service Manager

Leads a team to provide day-to-day to the Application Services department to ensure the team delivers proper application & web development and support for all EZECOM applications, in-house and vendor supplied.

• Organize and Monitor the Application Services Team to ensure high quality output.

• Promote Information and Knowledge Sharing among the Application Services staff.

• Assist with the Diagnosis and resolution of problems.

• Monitor external EZECOM Service Providers and Contractors for effectiveness and professionalism.

• Manage the system integration projects.

• Manage the VAS product design based the customer needs.

• Manage the backend support for the managed services with partner support.

Ensure Policies, Procedures and Processes are created as required.

• Provide/create/approve a set of testing procedures, before moving on to developed software and then take into production.

• Create/approve documentation, such as user manual, technical documents or other as required.

• Provide high level of analysis and ensure that the department delivers a quality solution.

• Testing new systems and providing competitive commercial solutions. This can involve inventing new systems or revamping existing areas of the business.

• Using technical resources at an advanced level to create technical solutions, enabling Ezecom to better meet their goals. Advising senior management on new systems

• Perform other related tasks as directed by Line manager.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Managing Application developers.

• Minimum of 4-years’ experience working in IT development of applications for use within ISP or Telecoms industry.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Have a good level of creativity and ability to think-outside-the-box.

• Ability to understand and Create Processes and Workflow.

• Identify, document and classify various systems applications

• Experience working with external service providers and contractors.

• Experience with projects, project planning and management is mandatory.

• Ability to work under pressure, Ability to motivate staff.

• Uses initiative, Solution Oriented.
