At Zion we have ensured we promote international mindedness by employing teachers from all over the world. Across both campuses staff come from America, Australia, South Africa, England, the Philippines, Morocco, Turkey, New Zealand, and Germany.
Having such a breadth of international perspectives helps us to promote our International Learning Goals. These goals are aimed at getting students to think globally and encompass international perspectives and ideas.
It also means our students know about some of the similarities and differences between the different countries and between them and other cultures. In promoting our global thinking students are lead to investigate the ways in which these similarities and differences affect the lives of people in Cambodia and other countries around the world. It also promotes our students being able to respect one another individuality and independence and we encourage them to be able to identify and explore activities and cultures which are different from but equal to their own.
